Location: 6 Bigelow Street, Cambridge, MA

Date: November 14th- 17th

(Friday & Monday 5pm- 9pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am- 4:30pm)

Teaching the Surya Thai Massage Method

In this 4-day, 20-hour training, you’ll learn how to confidently perform a 90-minute session that helps clients improve range of motion, increase energy flow, and release tension throughout the body.

Thai bodywork is an ancient healing practice from Thailand that blends compression work, passive stretching, rhythmic rocking, and deep tissue techniques to enhance flexibility, improve circulation, and relieve tension. With roots in Ayurvedic and Southeast Asian traditions, it also works along the body’s energy pathways, known as Sen, to support overall well-being.

This introductory training goes beyond the basics. You’ll learn how to use your hands, elbows, knees, and feet to deliver a full-body treatment with safe body mechanics. We’ll also explore neuromuscular techniques and positional release for deeper effectiveness.

No prior experience is required, though a general knowledge of anatomy is helpful. This training is ideal for physical therapists/ PTAs, massage therapists, personal trainers, yoga instructors, and anyone who works one-on-one with clients and wants to expand their practice while helping people move and feel better. Massage therapists will receive 20 hours of CEUs!

Class limited to 6 participants!
